My friend went on a hiatus from photography. He recently came back, and i must say he's out of practice. Compared to the last 2 impromptu sessions we had, this session had less nice shots out of the dozens experimental shots.

This boy always has a camera with him without fail that whenever we meet for coffee, we end up taking pictures. Oh well, he loves photographing, i love being photographed.I wasn't quite in the mood though, actually. No make-up, dressed in slack tee and jeans. He had this great idea to have me put on BRIGHT RED lipstick. For effect. So he bought a cheapo $3 lipstick from a chapalang shop.

I think it'll be nicer if i could make the entire photo in BW, then only the lips in colour. But i'm too lazy and i'm not good at photoshop.
Struck some obligatory poses. Feeling quite sian already.
This is the first shot. Totally sullen. I wasn't even posing.

The blue glasses are from my younger brother's gf. I think it looks better on me. hahhaa..

Can someone calculate how much i've spent on bikinis and tell me?

We officially made pizza.

He's SO GOOD with lagsane, pizza and pasta.

It was tedious making pizza, considering we start right from making dough. Yeast, flour, water, olive oil, sugar, salt and milk. Knead, pour, knead, bake, knead.

But it was so so good. Quality pizza you know, not junk food. So healthy that even my parents asked for more.

If you want to be a good mother, start learning to make your own pizza.

I wonder what parents think...

when they see this..... from this....

German Carnival 2009

98.9% of the people were dressed up. Everyone was a good sport, a few were into character even. I even saw some Arab women all covered up (Ang Moh underneath) grooving to the music. Although with their attire, they only can bob.
Back in Germany, they have this carnival annually where everyone gets pissed drunk, dressed up and makes out with strangers.
Cheery traditional songs are played in their mother tongue, everyone sings along and do the choo-choo train.
I told her i found my Minnie Mouse at a sex shop, did she too?
I thought i was Alice in Wonderland. He did say before leaving my house that if i was Alice, i should be bringing my rabbit along.
But everyone there rightfully informed me i was wearing the traditional costume of South Germany, worn by the Bavarians.
The girls wear it during their Oktober fest. I found mine in one of those role playing stores and thus the skirt was very short. But i googled and the ones that the girls wear in reality are very sexy too. Oh well, all kinds of fetishes. Just like Minnie Mouse.
I've been mingling between two communities now. One local, the other foreign. There're differences that you can't deny. Wait, this observation is made on impressions people make on me the very first time we meet. Not on people whom you're ALREADY friends with.
The locals whom i met the first time were mostly mundane and somewhat boring. (disclaimer: although they can get exciting AFTER the first meeting)
this is because as Asians, we are generally more reserved. You do not talk taboo on the first meeting. And so what do you talk about when you just meet a person?
" What do you do?" "OIC, tell me more about your job." "What was your previous job?" "Oh yes, economy now very bad.."
Damn BORING can!! Then the whole night i must repeat the same thing over and over again to different first-time people i meet. Maybe some will develop into something more exciting, then those are the ones i keep in contact with. But in general, i wish from the start of that polite dinner/drinks session, i could announce to EVERYONE my job, what i do and my previous job.
Saves me saliva. Or maybe its just me. Maybe i'm unconventional. I asked him when i first met him,
" Excuse me do you shape your eyebrows? Its nicer than mine."
" And are you gay?"
I spoke my mind, it wasn't a pick-up line (rhymes eh?).

BUT then, the local first-times are also the only ones whom you can use your local slang/jokes and be understood. You talk about issues and beliefs that only Asians will agree. With Westerners, you just get into a debate. Sometimes heated, because they cannot accept your Asian thinking even though they are in MY society.

Meeting a Westerner for the first time, can start very interesting conversations. They do not hold anything back, and so within ten minutes, you can know their deep dark secrets and you'll think you're the new best friend!
Like sex parties, drugs etc.
Sometimes i'm glad Singapore has its strict laws on such, but then you also wouldn't know what goes underground. Which then, makes it even harder to control. When people are oppressed, they do anything. Look at Japan..

And so because i was typically Asian, i asked one of the boys at the party "what's your occupation here in Singapore?" Nothing more original to start a conversation. I'm so boring.

"I'm a gay club stripper," was his reply.
And i told him i work with prisoners. He continued pulling my leg by saying he can earn 10-15 grand a night, and the location is secret etc. But i could tell he's even more intrigued with my occupation because i wasn't lying. Technically. Actually i knew he was kidding me, but somehow i wasn't sure if it was real or not. You never know, you know.

And so i realised how come Westerners can come up with some original conversation opening liners but Asians cannot? Is it because Westerners are more frivalous and players? And Asians are more sincere and respectful? I suppose there's no good nor bad, whatever suits your taste.

Attraction is not bound by age, race nor culture.
P.S whatever that i just said has no relevance or link to the photos. Am not claiming that whatever i heard, whoever said what are from those humans in photos.

Counting Bikinis

I thought i'd only have one. I wasn't a fan of bikinis in the beginning, seriously. This was my very first one. From Bugis. Cost $25. I was 16 and Xinci organised a surprise birthday BBQ at Sentosa for me.
You know, i think it might be true. That as you grow older, you develop deeper double eye lids. Look at my eyes when i was younger and now....its not any bigger or deeper now but i think there is a slight change. Gravity and age pulls your eyelids down. Then my second bikini came, coutesy of this shoot. I went shopping with them and i think it was ridiculous. Their taste. See, for a that pink brandLESS bikini (which i think i can find at bugis village), they paid $69 for it when i felt it should only cost $15, $25 max.
And so it was never my favourite bikini because quality was poor, shape was poor (very loose), it just doesn't look 69 you know. So i took it to the dead sea with me. The tour guide asked us to bring an old (don't want anymore) swimsuit. I thought "hey, if it spoilt, never mind."
but it didn't spoil. Even after soaking it in serious salted waters and rubbing mud all over. Interestingly, its the second bikini that my boyfriend likes the most though (first is the white one, everybody likes the white one) He thinks it hot. Of course it is, because it shows SO MUCH. The bottom is only tied with the string by the side. Which is also why i'm not quite comfortable wearing it. Them my third bikini, which is from Blum at Tampines Mall. Was $25.
It was Lingfeng's 21st birthday party at Sentosa, again.
As you can see from i'm the one one wearing a swimsuit. CHURCH group *yawn*This one actually comes out pretty in pictures but not so in real life. Its one size too big for me actually. And its actually a full length top, but i fold it up for obvious reasons. haha. I was 19.

Then stopped the bikini buying for 2 years. Sara sent me the striped one when i was in Perth. It's nice, but i don't wear it often because the bottom was too revealing (a G!).
Then, i bought this at a surf sale. AUD 49, it was a Billabong.

I was at Adventure World on a roller coaster and my friends said i look xxx in this.
I brought my first bikini along with me. It lasted 5 years! But i left it behind when i left Australia. It was beginning to lose shape. Then i bought this at another sale. It was AUD 30 i think. You know, because i clocked in almost 25 hours every week working, i earned alot to feed my shopping frenzy. Having spending power is bliss. Retail therapy is my relief for stress and unhappiness. Although, i'm seldom stress or unhappy. Then again, you don't need a reason to shop.

Wait, you mean you only buy when you need to? Is that how it works?
Then i thought i'd need another black one because i thrashed my old one. So that's another AUD 49.

When i returned, i celebrated my new job with more shopping. At the same time, i had a diving trip and so i thought i need a new bikini!
I liked this one, because it fit to my body like a second skin and made the crucial body part look full without much padding.
Cost me $69

A guy friend told me before the hip bone of the woman is very sexy. That line (bone) you see going down towards the crotch. Guys have it too, but i think its called the sex muscle. Other parts that male friends found sexy were the nape, the collar bone and the small of the back.

Me personally likes the stomach (not bulging one yet not necessary needing abs) and broad shoulders. Then i thought one-peice swimsuits are sexier. I liked the print then, now not so much anymore.
Anyone wants to buy? It cost $69.
Then Bali came up and i needed a new one again! $69.
Finally, the all-time favourite by everyone. I was so sad that the coke can BURST in my bag and stained my bikini. After i only wore it once! There's a slight yellow stain on the bottom now, not obvious but you know....

I hate COKE for this. See how damaging coke is? It stains your TEETH! Cannot get out!

If only the sea was blue like Australia's. I just realise all my beach photos in Singapore were at Sentosa. How unoriginal. Except 2 in the earlier ones. One was at ECP, the other at Big Splash.
This was $59. It came in red, black, brown, pink. So glad i chose white. It stands out. I've been contemplating buying another one as spare tyre. Just in case you know, since its SO NICE.

But Yvonne stopped me and said i was silly. Dixi encouraged me though, but in a different colour.
I didn't buy. But am still THINKING!
Maybe not, since now i have the VS one-peice in black arriving. Will i get similar rave reviews to beat this one? My latest buy. I waited 3 months for this. I liked it because it looked very rocker chick and like a tattoo. $79. Its expensive because of the material. Like the blue one i wore while diving. Fits to you like a second skin.I will take this to Langkawi in March.

As the lady boss in the bikini shop says, " You're only young once! You think you will be wearing them when you're 40? Buy now, wear now, and take photos!!"

This reminds me i need to start cutting back on junk food and exercising more. Have been going out and pigging out so much that my boobs are growing bigger (a.k.a getting fat).
