My job ain't that glamourous. It's just another job. Bonus is i look forward to going to work, i just do not enjoy the working adult's life. Work-sleep-work.

I suddenly feel there's more to life than this. I have a purpose in life.

This shoot was rather fun, because the contestants are my age. So plenty to banter about and full around. Not putting up other "silly" pictures in case i 'flout' some company rule. But these were taken with my camera. So i suppose they are considered personal and i've rights to them. I mean, i'm in them ain't it!
Nothing to wow about a man that tall.

But something to wow about a lady that tall. But well, she was wearing heels and me, flats. But i suppose me being short does contribute to the reason.

I'm a dawrf compared to all of them!

Like a xiao di di, this one is full of energy.

Over the new year, i had 2 girlfriends who visited our shores from the other shore. We went to the fish farm. We brought my cousins along too. I paid for them to catch some fishes. The farm provided a net and tank. The 9 year old had better skill, no, luck than any of the adults there. Me, my friend and the boyfriend. She caught 10 in total. After a loooong try, she caught the first fish. We were all so excited, and then she suddenly let the net back into the pond. We all went "aaaah!!! why did you do that!"
She said " the water is flowing out of the net. the fish will die!"

Some outdated pictures from Chinese New Year. My secondary school gathering.

Quite proud of all of us actually, i mean, we all came from a neighbourhood school. But each one of us are pretty successful now.

Looks like it, but i am NOT leaning on the blue shirt guy.

He sits behind me, and he used to kick my chair alot. You know, those *kick* what did the teacher say ar? *kick* when hand up ar? *kick* how to do this ar?

I never had a prejudice against Malays, mainly because of these Malay friends of mine in school. They were part of my memories. Funny kids. Smart too, don't play play. They can beat me in Maths k. But i AM terribly lousy lah.

Some random picture with the girls from Perth. Last time i see them before they go back WITHOUT me. Sob sob...

Took the other girlfriend from Perth to Clarke Quay. Was my first time there as well after being away so long. It has changed so much, and the Clinic is SO COOL! but we were not rich enough to be on a drip, or sit at the operating table.

We did, however, stole moments with their golden wheel chairs.

My hands just happened to me there, i swear!

Megan's Visit.

Someone already dug the hole for us to pose in.

Dead bear.
A tourist must of course, take a picture with our icon.

Megan was only acting. She's really cool with it, but me? I loathe snakes. Maybe because i'm a good Christain? hahahaha..since the Bible says women and snakes are loggerheads. I didn't used to fear snakes that much. So maybe as i become closer to Him, i dislike snakes more? hahahaa. Some warped theory.

Papaya Babies.
A deer (the waiter) caught in the headlight of an oncoming car (another waiter taking our photo).

This was totally stupid. Why were we even smiling inside the basket?

Colours of my Life

I haven't been blogging...because well,i'm back! Which defeats the original plan of keeping a blog: being away from home. Well, also i have started work...i DO NOT want to be near a computer when i get home (too much radiation! i might turn into a 3 legged deformed freak.) And of course, i do not blog at work (how can you even think that!) LOL.

Guess what we had as part of our yu sheng? Pre Cum Strip. I think it meant pre-cut/prepared cucumber strips. But...lost in translation. LOL!

That, is a real seashell at one of my favourite uncle's home. His new apartment is uber cool. His own private lift into his living room, in the heart of Orchard. Floor to ceiling mirrors...fabulous taste. He lives the lifestyle i can only dream of!

He has various miscellaneous antiques displayed around. Some Chinese emperor's xie zhen ji, and some ancient kite.

Oh, shyanne..i suppose you can see my curls there.

The latest addition to the Ng family. He is uber cute, maybe its the USA influence where he spent his early years at. I was bored, so i took out my camera and urged Lithos to take pictures. His dad, my uncle, asked me warily, if i really wanted him to do that.

The child prodigy took this flower. Or maybe my camera is just good.

He directed me to pose. Ok, maybe i volunteered some.

He went into photography mode.

Oops, he's too short.
Did i mention he likes pretty girls and want to be a superstar? Haha. Correction, he likes thin AND pretty girls. He is so cute when he talks, my brother has a video somewhere.

Finally, there is reason to pull out those dresses from Australia.

There is no celebration without bubbles and sparkles.

He actually took this! His dad, my uncle still insisted on pure luck. Haha! It's as if you're living with a superhero but don't know his abilities.

If i were a kid TV show character, what will i be called? Durian Jie Jie, perhaps?

Why are all sparklers now whistling? Rhema in the background was the first brave boy to get his lighted, and as it whistled away, he got such a shock, his expression was this:

He literally jumped when the first shrill sound rang. It was hilarious for the adults to watch though. Lithos initially was still holding two sticks, waiting to be lighted. After seeing what Rhemma went through, he threw one away.

When he takes pictures for you, he will prepare you by saying "cheeese".

He bobs his head away while listening to Ivan's ipod. His favourite genre? Rock and pop. He hates the kiddie songs his teacher and classmates sing in nursery.

Obviously, boys are better in making funny faces.

Running out of ideas to pose, he stuck his finger in.
