The 2 Million Dollar Yacht

I wish i can tell you it was a party filled with alcohol, skinny dipping and peeing in the sea. But my friends are very mellow, well behaved subdued people so there's none of that sort. And i'm not apologetic about it because its so much better to have the yacht as spotless as it started off as. Less stress that way.Everyone loves getting into the Captain's seat to pose, don't they.Climbing on board..Getting a welcome drink..

My French manicured nails that Siping bought me lasted only 1 hour the day i got it done before it got scratched. Why does it ALWAYS happen to me! Am i not gentle enough?This was what i caught them doing on the upper deck.

Everyone who has met my dad says he's cute. Cute not in the good looking way but cute in the funny way.

And the stern was where the buffet table was set up. I wanted to decorate the boat like a love boat, Austin Powers style. But i didn't have time. All i had put up was a love dart thing.








Kind owner of the yacht, my uncle. I didn't take a picture with his baby! So so so cute and heavy. A 24/7 happy baby. I didn't take alot of pictures that night, was really tired and couldn't be bothered with the photo taking. Very thankful for Shyanne who probably documented almost everything.


I need to stop looking the same in every photo.

And so i brought out this whacky precious (my uncle can only bring back one!)candle specially brought in from China saved for a special occasion. And since i had such an audience, decided to use it for a spectacular performance.

The guys were discussing whether to use anything from China while i was trying to read the instructions in Mandarin.

They sang about racism, Christianity, life, bills,purpose,homosexuality,one night stands, porn and promiscuity. It was great fun,creativity and cuteness. The Bad Idea bears (yellow and blue) were adorable. The puppeteers were fantastic. There was even a scene where the 2 in-love puppets were naked and doing it (all positions possible) on stage.

Well, if you've cash to spare then sure watch a play at the Esplanade. But if you don't, then its not such a big deal missing this one.

When i was young..

I'm discharged now but given 2 weeks hospitalization leave. So i was packing and came across these old pictures. Gosh, i look different. Kinda. My skin WAS definitely oiler.

And its fun looking at my friends too. How they've changed. Alot of people lost weight..comparing the then and now pictures. Must be the stress in Singapore.

That Nokia phone i had is sooooo obiang now.
He is one of those who lost weight on the face but built up his body over the years. Definitely aged alot now. Maybe its because of his business. He's working 24/7. Have one of his pictures in my earlier posts.
The 77th Street party that was a flop. Haha, it's quite amusing thinking back now. So glad Shyanne was there with me to kill the flies.

My very dear childhood friends. Pity we drifted now.
I cannot imagine this group ever getting together like this again. Odd match now, wasn't back then. Friends come and go.. what a pity.
My best days were in Secondary school.

And camps were the most fun things to be in. But as you grow older, you loathe these things. I dislike chalets.
I think i lost quite abit of weight from my face too. So was those what you call baby fat? Shyanne looks the same then and now. Consistent girl, hah.
I seem to be laughing very happily here. I remember it was when i just got attached. No, not to this guy. That means this picture was taken exactly 3.5 years ago.
I definitely see youth in these old pictures. Do i look older now? Have i changed?

While i was hospitalised, i was quite surprised at the number of visitors i got. Quite frankly, i knew i had friends, but i wasn't quite sure if i had friends i could rely on or friends who would bother about my being. So i was touched and secretly pleased at those who came.

I felt my existence. So anyway, now that i'm discharged and i'm turning 23, i'm thinking of throwing a party to celebrate. A yatch party! Oh yea...

My Hospital Experience.

Never ever ever jinx yourself by saying you wanna spend your birthday at The Clinic.

Because look where i am now....Singapore General Hospital. And my birthday's looming and i'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed.

Long story short, i'm admitted for kidney infection that causes spiking fever.

1) Hospital food actually tastes nice (heck, i even like airline food)
2) Doctors and nurses are the nicest people around
3) The hospital is not that eerie after all
4) The tests they do on me to figure out what's wrong initially is enough to kill me than my illness
5) Health is wealth
6) Don't diss insurance no more.

I want Char Kway Tiao, i want duck rice!
