Chin's Noodle House

It costs $160 to eat this snow crab and i'm getting there....hahaa

Yesterday was my first day at work, and i've never ever waited on tables, served nor cleaned before. My princess smooth silky soft hands...but it wasnt that bad. Got burnt a couple of times, my hands are becoming like mum's iron grip hands.

Remember when i was young, i was like to set the tables and serve my own table at the restuarant before the waitress even gets to do it. And i remember my ambition when young was to be a cashier..hahaa..coz i like to count money.

But its good working in a restuarant, its busy all the time, so time will pass. You get to people watch and observe eating mannerisms for different people. The best bit of all...you get free dinner!!! Ok, not as fantastic as what you serve..but as a international student here, you get very stingy on food, so its considered a treat.

So yay, my calculations will not be in the red mark anymore, and so maybe i can start saving up towards a ticket back home!

P.S did i mention driving here, you DO NOT NEED TO take lessons? All you have to do is do the theory at the licensing centre, get your friend to teach you, and you book the practical yourself.

but of course, Singapore's license rocks, coz its recognised world wide as i learnt here. Malaysians etc have trouble getting to drive here. But my friend had me try driving around the school's car parks, and Chris had me try at the super market. Its sooo fun, like Daytona! But you need alot of concentration though, and i'm so small behind the wheel...i basically can't see much.
